I received my B.Sc. from Biomedical Engineering Departement of Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnique) and my M.Sc from Electrical Engineering Department of Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2003 and 2006 respectively. From Dec. 2006 till Oct. 2007, I was working in Pajuhesh Gostaran Puya Co., Tehran, Iran, as a Research Engineer in the Image & Video Processing field and I had active contribution in several projects including OCR, Text Adaptation, Video motion detection and Text tilt Correction.

In January 2008, I joint Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL). From January 2008 till April 2009, I was research assistant in Signal Processing Laboratories, where I was working on "Multi-view video object tracking" and "ECG compressive sensing analysis". Since May 2009 I have joined EPFL laboratory of Idiap Research Institute (L'IDIAP) and I am working towards my PhD thesis on "Automatic Perception of Social Information from Nonverbal Vocal Cues".
